Card Color & Sketch Challenge

This is my newest card for the color challenge #112 at Hand Stamped Sentiments and sketch challenge #29 at Freshly Made Sketches.

I wish I could take better pictures so that you can see the real colors used. One of the things that I'm always trying to improve on is layering. I need to be more patient as I figure out the sizes for each other (I'm old school - I like to eyeball it!) to get those even edges. The sketch challenges force me to figure out how to do things like layer and the color challenges force me to use my stash (but--but it's all too pretty to cut up) and try color combinations I normally wouldn't think to use!

Supplies use:

All supplies from Stampin Up.

  2. Great use of color. I especially like the sponged edges, it gives it a nice softness. I also love the script on that greeting. Perfect choice!! Thanks for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments!!
